Kort beskrivelse

The subject of the competition is the Ellebo public housing estate in Ballerup, which is located 15 kilometres north-west of Copenhagen. The buildings are characterised by damage typical of buildings of that time: damage to built-up roofs, windows, installations, etc. Additional facade insulation was installed in 1992, but the estate is currently run down and in great need of renovation that can ensure a good indoor climate, minimisation of energy consumption and an ability to cater to future needs and demands.
