The purpose of this RFI is that Kompetanse Norge (Skills Norway) will review what suppliers can deliver in terms of a new system for test management and test implementation, and how much adaptation would be necessary.
The contract for the tailored software for test management and test implementation that Kompetanse Norge currently has expires in March 2024, and we must procure a new solution before then. Since the economic limits for the project for implementation of a new system are not yet determined, we need assistance through this RFI in order to understand what fund must be allocated to this project. A Request for Proposal will be announced later, and the project period for implementation of a new system will presumably be approx. 2023.
Kompetanse Norge will use this RFI to learn from the potential suppliers, as well as use this knowledge to prepare the requirements that will be included in the RFP.

In chapter 4, 5 and 6 in this RFI, Kompetanse Norge will present a list of questions we want the suppliers to respond to. The questions should not prevent the suppliers from describing their solution in a general and comprehensive manner. The supplier need not be able to cover all of the needs in the system, but it must be clear what the supplier can cover and not cover.
Kompetanse Norge will use this RFI to learn from the potential suppliers, as well as use this knowledge to prepare the requirements that will be included in the RFP.
The deadline to respond to this RFI is 10 June 2021.
The deadline to submit questions about the RFI is 4 June 2021, and the questions will be answered consecutively.
