In connection with the expiration of the existing agreement for sea transport services on the route Bergen — Kirkenes, the Ministry of Transport and Communications is publishing a voluntary ex ante transparency notice for a future tender competition regarding all-year-round, daily and continuous sailings with 34 calls between Bergen and Kirkenes in Norway. The contract is expected to be initiated 1.1.2021, at the latest.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications is planning to publish a new tender in the middle of 2017 after the Norwegian Parliament has discussed the National Transport Plan 2018-2029. The state's procurement of services for the coastal route is described in chapter 6.3.5 of the National Transport Plan.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications invites all potential, Norwegian and foreign tenderers, to a market dialogue. The market dialogue shall be carried out as one-on-one meetings with each tenderer. The plan is to implement the dialogue by May 2017.
