Sula Fire and Rescue Service shall, assuming that the municipal council grants the necessary resources, procure a new fire engine (tank lorry) in 2017.
— The vehicle shall be a tank lorry with room for a driver plus 1 person.
— It shall have a water tank for minimum 8 000 litres.
— The vehicle shall, as a minimum, have 2-wheel drive (4x2) and automatic gears.
— All operating mechanisms shall, if possible, have instructions in Norwegian or symbols that are in accordance with Norwegian standards.
— The vehicle shall be registered as a lorry and comply with the prevailing regulations on emergency vehicles.
— The vehicle shall give optimum safety for the crew. Emphasis will be put on health, environment and safety conditions.
