The procurement project includes:
— the delivery of 8 EMUs with a length of up to 110 metres,
— the delivery of spare parts,
— an option for up to 6 additional trains. The option must be realisable in batches of 2 trains.
The Contract may also include the provision of support services in association with the modification/upgrade of the existing multiple units’ design and interiors. The objective is for new and existing units to have the appearance of a uniform fleet with respect to design and customer experience. The re-design and conversion of existing multiple units will be carried out under a separate project.
