The notice involves signing of (2) framework agreements for lease of satellite capacity:
1 agreement for commercial frequency bands - C and Ku-band.
1 agreement for government frequency bands - X and Ka-band (UHF Band is required).
The framework agreements are evaluated separately. If both of the agreements are won by the same supplier only one contract will be entered into. The framework agreement also includes purchase of additional services such as lease of landlines, courses, location of equipment at the supplier - see the tender documentation.
NOTE! Framework agreement was only awarded for commercial bands - C and Ku-band. The competition for the government band was cancelled due to a lack of clarity in the tender documentation in relation to the evaluation of X-band.
