Handheld reference instruments for measuring the radiation dose from neutron radiation

The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority (SSM) invites you to submit a tender for handheld reference instruments for measuring the radiation dose from neutron radiation (environmental dose equivalent and environmental dose equivalent rate in accordance with the definition contained in report ICRP 60 of the International Commission on Radiological Protection).

The instruments are intended for measurements in connection with radiological or nuclear emergency situations and for measurements in the surroundings.

The purpose of this procurement is that SSM shall be able to sign a contract on delivery of at least 5 and at the most 15 neutron instruments under 2013. SSM also wants the option of ordering 15 more instruments in 2014.
