This Procurement concerns the acquirement of an AI solution to perform tasks that can be automated. This includes extracting and publishing highlights and generating highlight packages for sports events.

AI technology is revolutionizing the broadcast industry in an extremely rapid pace by automating a wide range of tasks and thus enabling more creative workflows. By integrating AI into NRKs workflows, we can improve operational efficiency and as a result deliver more engaging content to the audience. Traditionally, journalists have been assigned to extracting, editing and publishing content from live sport events manually. AI technology can liberate resources, allowing journalists to focus on more in-dept reporting instead of “assembly line production”. This will also provide NRK with the opportunity to create new digital formats for presenting sports content as well as maximizing the value of sports rights NRK has invested in.
