Porvoon Energia Oy is planning to construct a new industrial scale electric boiler plant at the Kipinätie site in Porvoo, and invites your organisation to submit your proposal to deliver an electric boiler unit for this plant as specified in this description. Porvoon Energia Oy is a regional utility company and owns and operates the district heating network and related heat and power production units in Porvoo. Purpose of this project is to install a 10 MW electric boiler in a new boiler hall at the Kipinätie site, where it will be in parallel with three existing oil boilers and with the recently built heat storage. The main purpose of the electric boiler is to produce heat to the district heat network for city of Porvoo. It will also be utilized for optimization by producing district heat into the heat storage.
