The National Police Academy [Politihøgskolen (PHS)] is the only central educational institute for the Norwegian Police. Police education consists of a mix of theory and practice, and emergency driving is inlcuded as a part of the education in operative skills. PHS is now exploring opportunities to further develop the education using a driving simulator. This RFI is only a request for information related to, among other things, systems and products on the market for driving simulators/training simulators. See annex for specifications for the RFI. Note that this RFI is not to be seen as a part of the impending procurement process and it is neither directly regulated in the Public Procurement Regulations. Final decisions and choices regarding the procurement and the procurement process have not yet been made. No contractual obligations can be derived from this process, neither for the police nor the tenderer.
