Since 2018, CBMR’s research has been structured through four Research Programs that move from genes, through molecules and mechanisms, to translational science and back again to capture the unique strengths of the Center scientists and the Copenhagen research environment. The strategic objective of “Nutrient and Metabolite Sensing” is to characterize the role of nutrient metabolite sensing and hormone tissuekine signal integration in maintaining metabolic health and as potential targets to treat metabolic disease.
