Finnvera Invitation to Technical Dialogue regarding renewal of core servicing system for export financing

This document is not a prior information notice, a contract notice or an invitation to tender and the purpose of the publication of this document is not to start a tendering process. The participation in a potential future tendering process does not require giving information to this request. This document is an invitation to participate in a technical dialogue on the renewal of servicing systems for export financing. The objective of the dialogue is to improve our understanding of market offering that would serve this purpose. Specifically, Finnvera wants to understand a) Alternative approaches to the renewal b) Strengths and weaknesses of different alternatives / solution architectures c) Capabilities of vendors, products and platforms in relation to the Finnvera vision and needs d) Proposed service delivery models The objective of this system renewal project is to replace aging customized core servicing application with a business platform (preferably COTS) that will support current and upcoming Finnvera services across business areas. Hence, the coming solution will need to be able to cater the needs of Finnvera’s and Finnish Export Credit’s entire product portfolio through different stages of the financing agreement’s lifecycle. By renewing core application Finnvera aims to a) establish an operative platform for all Finnvera export financing products b) increase agility in business development and product launches (through the use of a widely configurable COTS) c) increase cost efficiency d) increase process automation and improve error prevention e) strengthen risk management capabilities f) improve data access and efficient use and re-use of data across business units Alhough Finnvera is looking for a partner with the capacity to take full responsibility of the system renewal, the vendors that do not have solutions to cover completely the full scope are invited to take part in the dialogue.
