Trumpas pirkimo aprašymas CERN intends to place contracts for the supply of power cables of different types for the CMS inner and outer trackers, including connectorisation. Firms will be qualified separately for the supply of standard stranded copper multiwire cables, single core enamelled multiwire cables and copper cladded aluminium single wire cables. CERN requires a total of approximately 150 km of cables.

Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in the manufacture of the cable type for which they wish to be qualified.
