The Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation continually works on improving the general terms for local democracy. The local parties and local lists are a key pillar of local democracy and play a major role in how local democracy works. Based on new developments in the society and the framework terms such as party support and party law, this research project shell give us knowledge on the local parties and the function of local lists in the current democracy. The survey shall collect data and analyse the local parties' and the local lists' development in the recent years. Key topics are membership development, organisation, funding and activities, recruitment and nomination.
