Hordaland county shall construct a new Åsane sixth form college, consisting of vocational subjects and district arts centre — A culture function for Bergen municipality. The college shall be established in Åsane Centre, on the site where U.Pihl sixth form college is currently situated.
The room programme consists of the following studies:
— Sports;
— Health and education;
— Service and transport;
— Restaurant and food;
— Electrician;
— Building and construction techniques;
— Technical and industrial production;
— Prison education;
— Adapted learning;
— Adult education;
The total net area is approx. 15 200 m2.
The district arts centre, including a library, makes up approx. 2 900 m2 net in addition to the college's area.
