The subsidy shall contribute to increased teacher density at the lower secondary level in schools with groups of an average of more than 20 students per teacher and which have primary and lower secondary school points below what are considered average in Norway. The objective of the subsidy includes: support the school's work with adapted training, reduce the extent of special education, make the education more practical, more varied, more relevant and increase the pupil's basic knowledge. The subsidy scheme is expected to expire by the end of school year 2016/2017.
Requests for prequalification shall be delivered electronically via the Mercell portal: www.mercell.no Delivery of tenders through the electronic portal will require electronic signature. Information of this is available at www.buypass.no, www.bankid.no, or www.commfides.no
