MA2534/12E Auditing services for the Norwegian broadcasting corporation, henceforth referred to as the Awarding Authority. The Awarding Authority is a limited company. The Norwegian government owns 100 % of the shares. The Ministry of Culture, represented by the Minister of Cultural Affairs convenes the Awarding Authority's general meeting. The Awarding Authority is a corporation comprising the controlling company Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation and the 100 % owned subsidiary company Norwegian broadcasting corporation Aktivum AS.
The Awarding Authority produces and distributes programs from the head office located at Marienlyst, from the regional centrals in Tromsø, Trondheim and Bergen with accompanying 9 regional offices, as well as from Sápmi. In 2011 the Awarding Authority (the controlling company) had a profit of 44 000 000 NOK. For the corporation the profit was 39 000 000 NOK in 2011. Total operating revenues for the Awarding Authority were 4 904 000 000 NOK in 2011, whilst the total operating revenues for the corporation were 4 950 000 000 NOK in 2011. In 2011 the average number of employees at the Awarding Authority was 3 730, whilst 3 756 were employed in the corporation.

The Awarding Authority's (the controlling company) accounting function is organised with an accounting and payroll department at Marienlyst as well as accounting and payroll personnel at all regional offices, regional centrals and Sápmi.
The principal liability for accounting and payroll is located at Marienlyst. Some accounting and payroll works are to be executed at the regional offices. The TV licence fees are managed by the Licensing department in Mo i Rana. All accountancy for the Awarding Authority is in one ledger.
