The aim of the contracts that will be signed is to cover DSS' need for access to qualified translators in the North-Sami language so that DSS can provide requested services in this language. A decision has been made that the service responsibility for Sami will be part of the new translation and interpreter service. There is thus no need for a liaison service. Contracts will therefore be directly signed with translators based on the prepared contract. The total value of the translation services in North-Sami is set to NOK 2,000,000.
