The Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization
(DALO) plans to tender the acquisition of various footwear,
fitting services and socks for the Danish Defence. The
purpose of this RFI is to understand how DALO can structure
the best possible tender for both DALO and the suppliers.
DALO expects to include the following categories in the
tender: A) Combat safety boots, B) civilian safety footwear,
C) safety footwear fitting service, D) job footwear and other
items, E) riding boots and fitting service, F) footwear made to
DALO specifications and G) wool socks . Reference is made
to the information in DALO’s RFI questionnaire available via
the link in section VI.3).
DALO plans to tender the framework agreement in
accordance with the Danish Act no. 1564/2015, as amended,
on Public Procurement (in Danish: “Udbudsloven”.
As part of the preparation, DALO hereby requests
information regarding the market from potential suppliers to
be used for the preparation of the tender documents. Thus,
the purpose of this RFI is to find out how DALO ensures
receipt of the best possible offer, as well as how the best
possible framework agreement can be arranged for DALO
and DALO's future supplier.
Please see section VI.3) for information on how to participate
in the RFI.
DALO has prepared a questionnaire which potential
suppliers are asked to complete and submit to DALO via the
electronic tendering system. Potential suppliers should take
notice of the attached “special enclosures 1a and 1b”.
The date mentioned in II.3) is merely indicative, since DALO
at this point is not aware of the specific date the procurement
will be published.
