Work has been ongoing for several years to clarify measures so that Kvadraturen school centre has a satisfactory inside climate. The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority inspected building B at the school on 11.2.2015. Several shortcomings in the building's climate installations were pointed out at the inspection. The school was given the task of mapping the situation, establishing a plan of measures for immediate improvements, and establishing plans for future permanent measures for improvements. On 10.3.2015, the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority ordered a presentation of the mapping, a risk assessment of the inside climate, and participation from the safety delegate. On 1.9.2016 the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority approved a compulsory fine so that the school would see to the previous orders. A deadline for the measures was set to 28.8.2016. Vest-Agder County replied to the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority's previous orders in a separate letter dated 22.12.2016. Different measures and a progress plan for the measures were presented in this letter.
