The object of the tender process is an analyser capable of measuring 13CO2 in air. , , The minimum requirement is that 13CO2 can be measured with a detection limit of 50 ppb 13C/12C in air at atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration (400 ppm) in a 2-minute measurement or shorter duration. , , In a 2-minute duration, the device should have at least 500 ppb detection limit for carbon dioxide. The CO2 measurement range for carbon dioxide must reach to 1000 ppm or higher CO2 concentration., , The instrument must accept sample in gas form at absolute pressure range of 0.5 – 1.5 bar. The sample gas consumption should not exceed 10 standard litres per minute. The device should include a pump to induce sample gas flow to the device. Time between ending of one and starting of the next 13CO2 measurement should not exceed 5 minutes. The device should be compatible with hydrogen, with a minimum requirement being compatibility with hydrogen at concentration up to 500 ppm, that is half of the lower explosive limit of hydrogen. , , User training for the instrument operation is expected at VTT premises upon delivery. Training over video conference call can be accepted in such a case that the device manufacturer will guarantee the learning of the instrument operation, and will send a specialist to the place if it is required by VTT. User support is expected to be available in the same way as the training for the instrument operation., , Two (2) year warranty as of the delivery for the functioning of the instrument and its components is expected., , Offers with price exceeding 150 000 euro are not considered., , The instrument is expected to be delivered to VTT no later than 15 weeks from the order. Delivery time less than 5 weeks is seen optimal., , As a result of the competitive bidding a primary and a backup supplier shall be selected. The backup supplier shall be used in case the primary supplier fails to deliver the device in time.
