OSL (Oslo Airport) shall replace the current rubber removal machine from 1999, The machine is not removing the rubber from the runway in accordance with current requirements and is not suitable for removing mark paint. A new EASA regulation has more stringent demands with control of rubber residues on runways and with an option for increasing friction on runways.
