II.2 Description
The Department of (EMB), SU operates at present one 4- and one 2-channel
CFA to analyze nutrients (ammonium, nitrite, nitrate, phosphate and
silica) in fresh and marine waters. The department intend to replace the
4-channel CFA, with an optional 5:th channel for nitrite (NO2), with an
instrument with at least the same performance no later than during the
first quarter of 2016.
The instrument will primarily be used in an intended laboratory, but may
on occasion be used in a laboratory at sea.
