Walk-in growth chambers

University of Eastern Finland, School of Forestry is purchasing 4 walk-in growth chambers (from which one is optional) with wide spectral range of illumination. Chambers are required to be applicable for versatile scientific studies: straightforward to program for various experimental conditions, the interior should be modifiable for specific measurements requirements, the operation and maintenance needs to be cost effective.

The tendering considers only growth chambers designed and tested for vegetation, soil, and/or wetland studies. Well-documented history of using the offered chamber in the corresponding scientific studies is important factor in the selection process.

The chamber installation site sets strict limitations to available build and maintenance space. The chambers are required to be delivered and installed in fully operational condition before the end of the year 2025 into the intended room (358A in the Natura building) at the Joensuu Campus. The offer should therefore contain all the required parts, programs, training, and services needed for delivery, installation, and basic operation. Unclear description of required information forms basis for rejection of an offer.

Last acceptable delivery date is 1.12.2025 for the finished installation and operational system.
