Procurement of devices for a new battery lab

The project will build a research, training and development laboratory focusing on the development of the latest battery technologies and materials at University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio Campus. In general, the project responds to the challenges of the green transition and specifically to the needs of the local economy in relation to the wider use of renewable energy and the commercial exploitation of technical solutions. This is essentially linked to the research and development of the latest battery technologies and the training of experts in this field.

The laboratory will be equipped to produce, develop, and research both coin type and pouch type cells, with the capacity to provide solutions to both scientific research as well as the industry.
