In connection with major operations against acute pollution, waste management services will be required. A potential provider of waste management services will work close with the Norwegian Coastal Administration, IUS (the Intermunicipal Committee against acute pollution), the responsible polluter and other participants in the operation The primary assignments for the provider of waste management are collection, transportation, and treatment of wastes, as well as cleaning the vessels and materials that are polluted.
