3D Stimulated emission depletion microscope optimized for super resolution live cell and tissue imagine. The instrument will be part of a core facility and will be used super resolution imaging of a range of applications from fixed samples to live cell and tissue imaging. Key aspects of the instrument will be, lower light dosage, multiphoton excitation STED, STED fluorescence correlation microscopy (FCS) and adaptive optics for to compensate for sample-induced aberrations
