The objective of the procurement is to cover Forsvaret's [the Norwegian Armed Forces’] need for personal protective masks, including filters, that provide satisfactory protection for all personal that participate in operations where there is a danger for contact with CBRN hazardous materials. This also includes respiratory protective equipment for specialists where normal protective masks do not provide satisfactory protection.
