Ringsaker kommune shall build 26 sheltered accommodations at Tømmerli in Brumunddal, and shall therefore enter into partnership with a collaborating contractor in connection with the execution of this project. The suggested placement of the building and the economic frame requires good and solution oriented cooperation between the contractor and Contractor where i.a. good solutions and area efficiency will be in focus. A sheltered accommodation has many different users, with different needs. There must therefore be good cooperation between i.a. contractors, the Contractor, users and architects to create the flexible and good solutions that will result in sheltered accommodations in Ringsaker kommune that can be used by the different users, with their different needs, without particular adaptations to the accommodations being necessary later. It is important to Ringsaker kommune that the users thrive in the accommodations they are allocated, therefore focus shall be on the accommodations not having a typical institutional character, but that the accommodations are a good home for the users. The building shall be connected to the existing buildings at Tømmerli, which makes joint use of the current services possible. The right collaborating contractor is forward thinking, has good experience from equivalent projects, has the correct key personnel for all phases in the project, has the ability to cooperate across different groups to search to find the right solutions that make project overall well executed.
