The contract is awarded on the basis of Directive 2009/81/EC article 28, (1), (e).
It is vital for the use of the IEDD equipment and vital for the safety of personnel that the Danish IEDD equipment corresponds to the equivalent equipment owned by a strategic partner of the Danish Defence. The economic operator is for specific technical reasons the only economic operator, who has the specific technical know-how regarding this strategic partner's IEDD defence equipment.
