The City Council's financial plan for 2014–2017 specifies expansion of Riska BoAS by 29 nursing home beds. In connection with this, the contracting authority has entered into a contract for:
— Detailed design based on pre-study.
— Construction of 2-storey extension comprising 2 300 m² on the existing parking lot.
— Development of an outdoor area.
— Installation of central heating, backup power and control board in a separate building (Building shell for the above and transformer for lighting will be handled by the Project Owner).
— Supply and installation of fixtures.
The project will be implemented as a modified turnkey contract. The extension and the outdoor area are scheduled for occupancy from 1.11.2015 The contractor must have the capacity to complete the extension and outdoor area in accordance with the contract, so that the hand-off can take place no later than 5.10.2015. The extension shall be designed and built according to criteria for low energy buildings in accordance with NS3701.
