The purpose of the procurement is to facilitate continued implementation of the digital written exam for private candidates in Oslo. The exam is carried out in Vallhall Arena, with whom the Private Candidate Office has a contract that goes until 2027. The period for the written exam is weeks 46 – 48 during the autumn term, and in weeks 20 – 22 during the winter term. On certain exam days, there may be up to 2550 candidates in Vallhall Arena. On other days, the number can vary from 50 and up to 2550 candidates. Over the last five years, the written exam period has been 11 or 12 days per period. The exam dates are determined by the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training, and it must be noted that the week number and number of days may somewhat vary. The service must be performed during the period May 2023 - April 2025. The contracting authority has the option to extend the contract for up to a further three (3) years (1 + 1 + 1) on verbatim terms.
