The DMA is renewing the Danish DGNSS system, and are seeking to get an overview of potential suppliers that can deliver on the technical specifications attached to this RFI.
The Danish DGPS stations Hammerodde, Skagen and Blåvandshuk and the Faroese DGPS station in Torshavn respectively declared operational in beginning of 1999 and in early 2000 (see Figure 1). The range and geographical position of the DGPS sites supplemented by Norwegian, Swedish and German DGPS sites complete the DGPS coverage of Danish and Faroese Waters. All four DGPS stations are identical except the antenna installations.
