The objective of the assignment is to develop new knowledge related to public authorities' and employers' activities and reporting obligations (Norwegian abbreviation and henceforth referred to as: ARP), cf. the Equality and Discrimination Act §§ 24, 26 and 26a. The results from the assignment shall be used for developing a knowledge base that enables the Norwegian Directorate for Children, Youth and Family Affairs (Norwegian: Bufdir) to fulfil its role as a professional body for the activity and reporting obligations, including guidance on obligations. It is also a goal that the assignment contributes to increased competence regarding ARP among public authorities, employers, the social partners and other interested parties through research dissemination.
