This notice consists of an introductory market survey, which is meant to give the counties better insight into how relevant market actors assess problems, questions, and user histories we have identified connected to geographic information systems (GIS) in the counties. A GIS tool is central in large parts of the county, and is used in many service areas. The counties currently have separate contracts with suppliers of a GIS tool, but would like to incorporate the current contracts into a joint procurement of a GIS tool. We would like information on and knowledge of the available systems, what can be realised, and what will be important to take into consideration in the future procurement process.
We, therefore, on an overall level, request feedback on the functional requirements we need in order to safeguard geographical information systems in the counties. We would like the market's feedback on how, and in what way, the market can solve the functional and basic prerequisites.
The functionality is comprehensive, and we therefore allow the market to co-operate in delivering the best possible system from several market participants. This is not however, an absolute requirement. Responses to the market survey can be given to all or parts of the market survey.
As a matter of form, we would like to clarify that responding to this market survey is not a part of any future procurement process, and is not binding for the tenderer nor the counties in relation to any future contract. This also applies to any dialogue in the process.
