ESG data to ATP

ESG data have become essential factors due to the impact of society and their expectations to ATP. ATP wants to analyze whether there is a causality between high ESG scores and a company’s performance. Therefore, ATP wants to apply ESG metrics to test whether it can optimize their investment decisions. Primarily metrics within the Governance segment will be analyzed and applied to enhance investment decisions.    
The ESG metrics will be applied to our ATP investment world which in a high degree consist of stocks included in the MSCI World Index. To be able to rely on ESG data and letting it have an influence on ATP’s investment decisions it is of most importance that the data is transparent and of high quality. Furthermore, is it necessary that the vendor have sufficiently historical data available as ATP will be back testing theories.
ATP is using SFTP/FTP and web solution as the primary methods of getting data delivered.
