NRK is procuring:
Two KA band Auto Deploy Vsat antenna system for use on Eutelsat KA-SAT with an additional option for one more antenna system. The antennas will be used with roof mounted (Thule) systems on regular ENG cars for covering of daily and breaking news using broadband over satellite.
Necessary user manuals and maintenance documentation must be provided.
The equipment must be easy to install using standard Thule or comparable rails.
Airtime on satellite will not be a part of this bid.
This system must work as an auto deploy KA band VSAT antenna finding the Kasat satellite on 9E for a non-skilled operator.

NRK will supply the installation of antennas.
NRK will provide the Thule roof rails needed.
NRK will provide the vehicles.
