New extension at the Gloppen welfare centre for 20 new sheltered accommodation flats. The old wooden building is to be demolished and replaced by a new extension. As a starting point, the extension is planned to have 3 floors. The ground and first floors will be for sheltered accommodation flats, with the accompanying communal rooms and other necessary functions, such as storage, utility, offices and meeting rooms. The basement is to be used for storage, cloakrooms, offices and technical rooms. The sheltered accommodation flats will be planned in a flexible fashion in regards to different patient groups. A future-orientated building is required to allow for flexibility in order to accommodate for future needs.
