The Contracting Authorities will be Universitet i Bergen (UIB) [Bergen University] and the Bergen University controlled company Nygårdshøyden Eiendom AS (NEAS). Årstadvollen Health Campus is part of the future-oriented cluster project initiated by Bergen University. Establishing knowledge clusters is an important link in Bergen University’s strategy to further develop eminent research and education environments. The health cluster has a vision; To be an international powerhouse that shall develop innovative health and car solutions for the whole person, with the help of eminent research and education, adequate practice areas and cross-discipline interaction.
Based on this, Årstadvollen Health Campus is being constructed. Årstadveien 17 ‘The Old Odontology Building GOB’ shall be demolished, and a new building shall be erected that shall house parts of the health cluster. See the tender documentation for further information.
