The framework agreement will be valid for 2 years, with a unilateral option for the Contracting Authority to extend the framework agreement for 1+1 year. The annual volume of compound wood is estimated to 6 800 tonnes. During the spring — summer season approx. 6 — 8 containers with compound wood will be transported per day.
The waste is to be collected from the contracting authority's recycling station at Heggstadmoen 65 in Trondheim. The contracting authority shall sort and compress the waste for further transport. The compound wood shall be weighted at the recipient until the contracting authority has its own scale for weighing. All waste shall be delivered to a certified treatment or final disposal facility for the fraction in question. The contracting authority has approx. 40 containers and is responsible for the container management. The size of the containers is 38-40 m3.
Impregnated wood is defined as hazardous waste and is not included in this contract.
