The contracting authority would like tenders for gift articles for blood donors.
Norwegian and international laws and guidelines state that blood donors must not be paid. The gifts shall be a thank you for turning up and motivation to continue as a blood donor.
Blood donors come to the Blood Bank voluntarily, they give their time without compensation and some blood donors spend up to 3 hours at each visit.
User surveys amongst blood donors show that the gifts they receive mean a lot.
A blood donor is a man or woman between 18 and 70 years.
Helse Fonna, Helse Stavanger and Helse Førde would like the price of blood donor gifts not to exceed 50 NOK excluding VAT. Helse Bergen would like the price of blood donor gifts not to exceed 200 NOK excluding VAT.
