Present weather and visibility sensors for AWS use

Short description

The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to request tenders on ten (10) present weather and visibility sensors for automatic weather stations use. The Finnish Meteorological Institute is using preset weather and visibility sensor's on it's automatic weather stations (AWS) throughtout the whole Finland. In order to maintain the high data quality and availability, the sensors used must comply with demanding environmental conditions met this area. The other important characteristic to be evaluated is the compatibility with the existing AWS logger system and these requirements are reflected to the Criteria for procurement object.
