Norwegian Coastal Administration is looking to have their current VTS System changed. We are looking at doing this in 5 VTS’ and one simulator. The main task for the system is to collect information from sensors to support the VTS Service and help the VTS Operator to give essential and timely information to vessels in defined VTS areas.
During the change of systems we will need to have both the old system, and the new system running in parallel for safety reasons. When the new system is approved the old system will have to be removed.
