Metroselskabet (MS) is constructing Cityringen in Copenhagen. Cityringen comprises i.a. 16 km tunnels, 17 underground stations and 4 shafts.
The procurement process described in this notice comprises AF of the 17 underground stations.
Copenhagen Metro Team (CMT) is contractor on Cityringen Civil Works. The winner of the present procurement process for AF will be transferrred to CMT as a nominated subcontractor. CMT (and the companies behind CMT and subsidiaries of the companies behind CMT where these companies can execute a dominant influence on the subsidary) will not have the oppurtunity to submit a tender for AF.
The tender documents will range from performance specifications to detailed design documents. In general, the aesthetic appearance of the architectural elements will be defined in the tender documents, including material types, as well as size and layout of the elements.
The AF Contractor will be expected to develop the design to a detailed design level, integrate architectural installation solutions, coordinate finish systems, etc. to assure the architectural finish quality. This will require an understanding of the architectural concepts in order to maintain the project design objectives.
Metroselskabet has had a document prepared: “Information about the Architectural Finishes of 17 underground stations at Cityringen and the procurement process” (hereinafter refered to as the "infodocument"), which gives potential applicants for prequalification information about the future assignment.
