Short description
Scope: IVAR´s sorting facility with separate lines for sorting of residual waste and sorting of paper burned down in the summer of 2022. The plant will now be re-established, and IVAR wishes to inform the supplier market. The residual waste sorting facility will be re-established as a MRF plant located in the same building as before. The paper sorting facility will be established at a new location (not yet finally selected). A joint contract will include both the sorting facility for residual waste and for paper. Residual waste sorting plant: A contract shall be entered into for the electromechanical turn-key delivery of sorting facilities for mixed residual waste from households. Capacity: 40 tons/hour The facility will sort out the following fractions: - Mixed plastic - Magnetic Metal - Non-magnetic metal - Tetra - Possible options: o Sorting on fines o Batteries o Other options may be included Paper sorting plant Electromechanical turn-key delivery sorting plant for cardboard, paper, beverage carton The facility will sort on the following fractions: - cardboard/cardboard - Reading material/newspapers/magazines - Drinking carton - Mixed cardboard/paper/carton Propulsion There will be limited time for the tender competition and delivery of the sorting plants . Tentative Progress Plan: • Announcement of the competition: Mid March 2024 • Submission of application for pre-qualification: March/April 2024 • Pre-qualified tendering companies: Mid April 2024 • Submission of tender: End May 2024 • Evaluation and negotiation: May-August 2024 • Expected supplier selection: September 2024 • Expected start installation at site: Januar 2026 • Start trial operation: November 2026 Subject to changes to the above tentative progress plan
