The project shall contribute with knowledge of the distribution pattern from birthplace of Gulo gulo (wolverine) What is it that affects the distribution? Is it gender differences, geographical differences, density differences or other factors that affect distribution and distribution distance? The project will use existing data in Rovbase [management tool to accumulate and verify information on the distribution and occurrence of carnivores, the depredation on livestock of carnivores, and the compensation for depredation of carnivores on livestock].and available DNA profiles to establish relationships between different wolverine individuals. Density analyses shall be based on maps from RovQuant's spatial capture-recapture analyses of DNA data for the period 2013 – 2022. The project shall be completed by 2023.
