Assignment text
The assignment includes collection of samples from Mjøsa and Femunden, analysis of many different environmental toxins and reporting of the results. The program will monitor spreading of man-made chemicals and assesses how these affect a freshwater system. The general goal of the program is to provide a basis in order to assess health and environmental hazards of different chemical substances that have been spread in nature, and to identify needs for regulation of chemicals nationally and/or internationally.
