Contract research in RWD (Real World Data) and data protection

Short description

The University of Helsinki is starting a research project in the field of immuno-oncology (IO).

The project will create a health care infrastructure and research methods to follow-up IO-treated patients using real world data (RWD), which will enable different stakeholders to better understand the costs and outcomes of IO treatments, help increase cost effectiveness of IO treatments in the Finnish healthcare system and highlight the outcomes relevant to patients.

Supplier services are needed in following areas of research project:
-Mapping the stakeholders and understanding their needs.
-Preparation of the pilot study.
-Piloting: conducting an RWD study on a selected cancer patient group.
-Identifying the gaps in the current RWD research process and data.
-Drafting guidelines of practices and measures needed from different stakeholders in order to reach the optimal process and data (”RWD 2.0”).
