Procurement of: Review of methods, possibilities and limitations of inspection of post-tensioning steel in concrete bridges

Statens vegvesen [the Norwegian Public Roads Administration] is working to find methods to assess and map the condition of the existing post-tensioned concrete bridges. The objective of the assignment is to: Part 1) Map, trial and suggestion inspection methods that are available and suited to detect damage of embedded cables and anchorage. The work shall be documented in a report. Part 2) Prepare a manual for inspection of post-tensioning steel in concrete bridges, that builds on experiences from Part 1.
