Kort beskrivelse

NOU (the Official Norwegian Reports) 2015:2 “To belong” evaluated the total policy instruments for creating a safe psychosocial school environment and how to counteract and handle violations, bullying, harassment and discrimination in the Norwegian school system. The Norwegian Government has, as a part of the follow-up, decided that the competence of the adults in schools, nurseries and municipalities shall be strengthen.

The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training has been given an assignment regarding the development of a goal-oriented and differential competence package (Assignment letter 05-16) where the purpose is to strengthen the owners', nurseries' and schools' abilities to create safe environments for children and youth, and prevent, identify and handle bulling and other violations. The competence package shall strengthen the competence in regulations and education for schools and nurseries. Municipalities, counties and owners of non-municipal nurseries shall be included in the package.
